BHS-Sonthofen GmbH offers innovative and efficient mechanical process solutions for mixing, crushing, recycling and filtration applications. The company focuses on developing and manufacturing machines and plants. Today, BHS-Sonthofen is a mid-sized global player with over 350 employees worldwide. The group of companies is based in Sonthofen, Germany, and has subsidiaries in the US, China and India.
Since development of the first twin-shaft batch mixer in 1888, the company has demonstrated its innovative strength time and again with numerous new products. DKX twin-shaft batch mixers are regarded as the global benchmark where demanding mixing applications in the concrete industry are concerned.
For more than 100 years, the crushing technology division of BHS has been manufacturing machines that are used for processing minerals in quarries and gravel pits and in the mining industry. The product range includes impact crushers and impact mills with horizontal and vertical shafts.
The product range of BHS-Sonthofen for the building materials industry and mining industry contains following machine and plant solutions:
Twin-shaft batch mixer (Type DKX)
Dry powder batch mixer (Type DMX)
Twin-shaft continuous mixer (Type LFK)
Single-shaft continuous mixer (Type MFKG)
Mobile concrete mixing plants
Continuous concrete mixing plants
Retrofitting concrete mixing plants
Mixing plants for the waste disposal sector
Impact crusher (Type PB)
Impact mill (Type PM)
Rotor impact mill (Type RPM)
VSI Rotor centrifugal crusher (Type RSMX)
Stationary aggregates plants
Twin-Shaft Batch Mixer (DKX)
The Twin-Shaft Batch Mixer of type DKX from BHS-Sonthofen is the benchmark in mixing technology. Twin-shaft mixing technology is suitable for all formulas and offers a wide range of benefits. The mixing technique has a significant effect on the quality of the mixture and the economic efficiency of the production process. Thanks to the proven design and arrangement of the mixing tools, you will achieve consistent homogeneous mixtures batch after batch in less time.
VSI Rotor Centrifugal Crusher (RSMX)
The VSI Rotor Centrifugal Crusher of type RSMX TwinDrive is a high-performance vertical shaft crusher. It is ideal for size reduction and upgrading (cubical shaping) of material from medium-hard or hard rock. Due to the rock-on-rock crushing principle wear is reduced to very few components. The machine processes up to 580 t/h depending on the required task.
The crusher can be operated in two versions:
- Functional principle with rock shelf
- Functional principle with anvil ring
Rotor Impact Mill (RPM & RPMF)
The Rotor Impact Mill of type RPM is a high-capacity vertical shaft crusher. It is ideal in order to obtain a high crushing ratio in the case of soft or medium-soft rock (f.i. limestone). The intensive crushing effect is achieved between the horseshoe-shaped hammers and the annular steel plating. The desired grading curve is determined by the rotor speed and the adjustable annular gap.
Individual solutions for a wide range of mixtures Dry powder batch mixers (DMX) are adapted to the special requirements of mixing dry materials, such as cement, dry mortar, bonding compounds and dry shotcrete. Rotor impact mills with a narrow milling gap produce a higher proportion of fine sand The new rotor impact mills of type RPMF produce even finer fractions as well as output material with a significantly higher proportion of fine sand. As such, they are more efficient in producing crushed sand. T...| » Further reading
